- FAQs:
What is acid free in paper?
All paper is made form either wood pulp or cotton. Wood based cellulose has acid in it which can be harmful to the paper over a period of time. The paper turns yellow and starts breaking down. Hence during paper manufacture, the acid is neutralized and eliminated from the paper.

- What is lignin free?
Similar to acid components in the cellulose, lignin too has to be removed from the pulp as it retains moisture. Water in any form left untreated in a paper is harmful.
